Health and Safety scholarship terms and conditions

By submitting your application to the scholarship fund you agree and confirm each of the following:

    • The information provided in the application to the IoD is true and accurate at the time of lodging
    • You understand that you will be notified by the IoD as to whether your application was successful or unsuccessful by email on or before Friday 5 September 2025 and that no further discussion or review of your application will be entered into
    • You consent to the IoD providing a copy of your application form (or extract from it) and/or CV to the scholarship fund selection panel for the purpose of selection
    • All personal information collected by the IoD for the purpose of the scholarship fund is handled and may be disclosed in accordance with the IoD privacy policy
    • You consent to being contacted by the IoD with information about some of our other development programmes
    • You consent to information collected by the IoD being used for scholarship fund marketing and publicity purposes, including on the IoD website and social media

If selected as an awardee in the scholarship fund:

    • You consent to the IoD publicly disclosing your full name and region in relevant materials and communications
    • You are responsible for all expenses incurred as a result of travelling to the advanced health and safety governance in-person course
    • You consent to the IoD contacting you via email, phone or mail in relation to the scholarship fund
    • You will provide feedback during or after the scholarship programme in a timely manner, as requested from time to time
    • The Health and Safety governance onling course must be completed by 30 June 2026.
    • You understand and accept the course terms and conditions and that you must attend your chosen course before the end of 2026.
    • Course attendance is subject to availability at the time of booking.
