Following the AGM, we are delighted to welcome ASB Chief Economist Nick Tuffley as our guest speaker.
Under our branch constitution, one third of our branch committee retire by rotation each year and are eligible for re-election if they choose to stand for another term. This year Anna Bolland, Hannah Doney and John Ruge will be retiring from the committee and are available for re-election. Jessie Chan and Amanda Ng were co-opted onto the committee during the year and will therefore stand for election.
As with our membership, we are looking for a rich diversity in our branch committee team made up from a range of backgrounds and experience. If you are interested in standing for the 2026 Canterbury Branch Committee, please contact the Canterbury Branch Manager to obtain a nomination form. Completed nomination forms must be returned by no later than 5.00pm on Friday 20 February 2026
