Learn about, and deepen your understanding, of the new accounting standards and auditing standards.
As directors, we each have a responsibility for the preparation of accurate and informative financial statements and reports. Join us for a webinar, designed as an update for all directors and audit committees, where we’ll cover new accounting standards and new auditing standards that may impact your entity and the annual audit.
Please note: This session is a repeat of a face-to-face event run in Auckland on 19 June. The quality content is deemed important for all involved in this work. A slide deck will be made available to attendees after the session.
This webinar aims to give you the ability to question and constructively challenge management and auditors on these aspects. Moderated by IoD Board Chair Ross Buckley CMInstD, panellists KPMG Partner, Audit Darby Healey, Director in KPMG’s technical team, Marcia Smith and Director, Audit and Assurance Team at the External Reporting Board (XRB) Misha Pieters will share insights around the identified focus areas, and areas where errors have been found, that you need to be aware of.
This is an Audit and Risk Shared Interest Group (ARC SIG) event. Shared Interest Group events are open to IoD members only. If you want to join the ARC SIG and receive notifications about upcoming events, please sign up here.
