Initiative supports women in governance

The Institute of Directors has launched a Women Directors’ Network (WDN), in response to member feedback, to support members achieve their governance goals.

A ‘pulse check’ survey in March of female members found 85% of respondents wanted more opportunities to connect with fellow women directors. There was a widespread feeling (72%) that women-only events could provide an informal mentoring network for new and existing directors.

The WDN will offer formal and informal opportunities for networking and discussion. The October event has been set down below:
