We look forward to you joining us for our annual dinner and to hear from speaker Simon Craddock CMInstD, CEO of Port Taranaki.
Simon will present key learnings in his governance career and lead an open discussion on governance challenges including the dynamic between the expectations of directors of their management team and those of management to a supportive board.
After a few years’ hiatus, the evening will be a wonderful way to celebrate and network with other members, guests and the Taranaki committee.
Simon was appointed CEO of Port Taranaki in 2021. He has more than 20 years’ experience across professional services, engineering and aviation, leading and working on strategy and transformation projects and, more recently, in governance.
Simon has a background in corporate strategy, operations and performance improvement, having held senior management positions at Air New Zealand, and having worked at Deloitte and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare. He has also worked in structural design in the United States and asset management in the United Kingdom.
A chartered member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors, Simon has significant governance experience as a director of a number of companies, including WRAL Group (Hamilton Airport), Sounds Air Group, and Airwork Holdings Limited.
