IoD Covid-19 safety plan - updates
The information on this page was updated 13 September 2022.
New Zealand’s COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) ended 11:59pm, Monday 12 September.
Whilst this means our courses and events can be delivered with less safety procedures in place, we want to keep you and our people safe.
If you are attending an IoD course or event, we strongly encourage attendees do a RAT test prior to arrival at the venue. If the test is positive, please do not attend, and let your Course or Event Manager know so we can make arrangements to transfer your attendance to another date.
If you have a household member with Covid-19, it is especially important that you RAT test before attendance.
Face masks are not required to be worn at courses and events, however if you want to wear a mask, you are very welcome to.
Other safety measures
The IoD will keep some measures in place for all in-person events and courses to ensure attendee and staff safety.
- Hand sanitiser, masks and RAT tests will be available should they be required, and we encourage good hygiene practices at all times.
- Our venues spaces allow for good social distancing.
- If you are unwell, have any Covid-19 symptoms, are isolating as a positive case, or are awaiting test results please do not attend the course or event.
If you test positive while at a residential course, the IoD will not be responsible for accommodation or meal costs beyond the last day of the course if you are required to isolate away from home.
We will of course continue to monitor Government advice, and update this page if new Government information is made available.
For our cancellation policy, please see our course and event terms and conditions.
If you have any other queries please contact us on: 0800 846 369 or governancedevelopment@iod.org.nz (courses) or your local branch manager (events).
