Automation, and the considerations that should be top of mind for directors around this technology.
Kylie Reiri, Partner, Analytics and AI at PwC New Zealand will present on the skills needed for directors and boards to lead their organisation into a digital future with AI.
Kylie will share her insights and thoughts on how New Zealand businesses are placed in terms of adoption of Smart Automation now and into the rapidly-changing future. She’s also discuss the governance capability requirements to ensure “safe and responsible” use to maximise the benefits and minimise the potential for harm.
Driven by community, Kylie cares deeply about equity, where every person in Aotearoa has what they need to succeed. She is an expert in using data for the social, economic, environmental, and cultural improvement of Aotearoa.
Kylie has a Masters in Statistics and was most recently CEO of Nicholson Consulting. She is widely recognised for bringing a te ao Māori approach to the way data is used in Aotearoa and embedding meaningful purpose and social responsibility into the core operating model of business.
As a Partner in PwC New Zealand’s Consulting team, Kylie works with Iwi, businesses, and government. Kylie demonstrates when you bring together culture, values, and technology it enables our people to partner to build solutions that reflect the needs of the communities we operate in. This is strengthened by her commitment to increasing Māori capability in the tech sector, so Māori can lead the technical solutions to support iwi, hapū and whānau to design their own futures.
Kylie’s tech-savvy and deeply human approach has seen her win the IT Professional of the Year and the IT People Leadership Award, and she is a finalist in the Women of Influence awards.
Outside mahi, Kylie has two young tamariki and a large whanau who keep her busy, and is an advisor to the board of her Iwi.
