AI agents are reshaping work, decisions, and risk, what must boards do to maintain effective oversight?
AI agents are beginning to reshape how work gets done and how organisations make decisions—unlocking new efficiencies while introducing new forms of risk. Their influence can extend beyond obvious use cases, subtly shaping culture, decision pathways, and even product quality in ways that are not always visible.
For boards, the central challenge is oversight. Directors need clear visibility of where AI is being used, the assumptions underpinning its outputs, and whether human judgement remains embedded in critical decisions. Without this, risks can emerge unchecked.
Join Andrew Johnson from London Green as he explores how this rapid shift is creating new governance considerations. This session will highlight what directors should be asking, where attention should be focused, and how boards can build the capability needed to ensure effective oversight in an increasingly AI-enabled environment.

Andrew brings cross-sector governance experience spanning energy, professional services, property, technology, and education, grounded in practical, operational insight. He chairs Montana Group and the Waikato Anglican College Trust (St Paul’s Collegiate School), and serves on multiple boards including The Lines Company, Livingstone Building, PDV Consulting, Bluehaven Group, Stark Property Fund, Tompkins Wake, and two family offices.
As Executive Chair of LondonGreen, his personal holding company, Andrew has founded and scaled two technology businesses—IT Partners and Lightwire. This hands-on experience provides a practical perspective on AI adoption, cybersecurity risk, and digital transformation, all increasingly central to boardroom discussions.
He holds a BCom from the University of Waikato, has completed executive education at Harvard including the Owner President Management programme, and is currently undertaking a Masters in Cyber Security at the University of New South Wales. Andrew is a Chartered Fellow of the IoD.
