Dr Will Reedy, CEO of Spark Health, will look at the governance implications of going digital.
COVID-19 is set to become the catalyst for digital transformation across many industries. Digital capability and the ability to access customers and clients online is vital for business continuity.
Equally important was the ability to expand healthcare services to reach patients remotely and provide access to medical assistance without physical contact.
Dr Will Reedy will look at the implications this digital transformation has had on governance in the health sector and the additional impact of the Health Systems Review.
Dr Will Reedy, a practicing clinician, is the CEO of Spark Health, he is a member of the Spark Executive Team focusing on the only vertical in Spark the Health and Life Sciences Industry. Spark Health’s vision is to help all New Zealanders live healthier lives through the power of technology with a focus on transforming the health system with digital services.
As the inaugural chairman of the Ministry of Health national health information platform, he has led health and life sciences practices at consultancies Accenture, HP, and Cap Gemini.
Before returning to New Zealand in 2015, he led digital health transformation programmes for health systems in North America, the UK, and Australia.
