IoD Māori Connect is a relaxed and informal hui bringing together Māori directors and those with an interest in Māori governance and leadership.
Hosted by Joseph Tyro MInstD and members of the Institute of Directors Canterbury Branch Committee, this hui provides an opportunity to connect with peers, share experiences and strengthen relationships in a supportive and welcoming environment.
There is no formal agenda or set topic — just kōrero and connection over coffee and some kai.
This event is open to both members and non-members. Whether you are an experienced director or at the beginning of your governance journey, you are warmly invited to join this informal gathering to build whanaungatanga and grow your Māori governance network.
The focus is on whanaungatanga, connection, manaakitanga, supporting and uplifting each other.
Should you have any dietary, mobility, cultural or other requirements, you can let us know on the registration form.
By registering for this event, you are confirming that you agree to adhere to our event terms and conditions.
Regrettably, registration fees cannot be refunded when cancellations are received within two working days prior to any branch event. See our standard terms and conditions for more information.
