The alignment of assumptions. The board’s role in outlining scenarios and methodology for the scenario analysis planning process with Peter Withers.
Peter Withers will discuss the term 'strategy' and the board's role in development planning, endorsement and oversight.
This will lead into an outline and an example of scenario planning and the methodology of the planning process.
Peter Withers is a coach, advisor, and teacher drawing on 40 years of international experience in executive education, business consulting, and trade diplomacy in North America, Latin America, China, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey, and New Zealand.
Peter has provided MBA teaching and coaching to Massey University’s Business school and taught executives at the UCLA Anderson Graduate School, La Verne University in California, and Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and other business progrmames in Singapore. He has held positions of Assistant Dean at Pepperdine University Graziadio Graduate School of Business & Management in Los Angeles and Director of Academic Programmes at the Univeristy of Auckland Business School.
In his diplomatic career, Peter served as Second Secretary Commercial in Washington D.C., then as Chargé d’Affaires and Counsellor Commercial in Athens, Greece before establishing the New Zealand Embassy in Ankara, Turkey as Head of Mission. In Los Angeles, he established the New Zealand Government’s first regional trade director for North & South America.
