Overview

Join the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's Governor, Dr Anna Breman, for a discussion on New Zealand's economic outlook, the forces shaping the environment in which households, businesses, and communities operate, the role of the Reserve Bank in promoting price and financial stability, and how these contribute to New Zealand's economic wellbeing over time.

Reflecting on her first year as Governor, Anna will discuss the Reserve Bank's priorities and responsibilities, insights from Reserve Bank's latest monetary policy assessments, and the latest outlook for inflation and economic activity. She will also share perspectives on the global economic and geopolitical developments influencing New Zealand's economy, and how the risks and uncertainties arising from these factors inform the Reserve Bank's assessment of the path ahead.

No new insights will be provided beyond those in the 28 October 2026 Monetary Policy Review.
