Director Lens on the IPCC Reports
Overview
Recording date - 28 April 2022
For the first webinar in the Chapter Zero New Zealand series, we were delighted that Judy Lawrence, Coordinating Lead Author for the 2022 IPCC Sixth Assessment Working Group II Report (Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability), and Andy Reisinger, Vice-Chair of the Working Group III Report (Mitigation), joined as expert panellists in conversation with Charles Ehrhart, KPMG Partner and Climate Change, Decarbonisation & Sustainability Lead.
The webinar focused on the latest IPCC reports and what they meant for directors. The reports were a wealth of information, enabling directors to embed climate considerations into board decision-making and to understand and act on the risks and opportunities that climate change posed for their organisations.
This session provided attendees with:
-
- an overview of the IPCC reports from a director’s perspective
- key conclusions and implications for directors’ duties in New Zealand
- a rare opportunity to interact with and ask questions of the experts.
Speakers
-
