Join this breakfast with Annabell Chartres – partner lead for the National Sustainability and Climate Change practice at PwC New Zealand.
A company is more than an economic unit generating wealth. It fulfils human and societal aspirations as part of the broader social system. Performance must be measured not only on the return to shareholders, but also on how it achieves its environmental, social and good governance objectives.
Annabell’s presentation looks at how over recent years there has been significant changes in the way stakeholders expect organisations to present and run their business, requiring the boards of companies to re-evaluate their purpose within an environmental, social and governance (ESG) context. Annabell will also discuss how boards need a firm grasp of value creation that satisfies all stakeholders, internal and external.
