Overview

Join us for a board and executive session on the future of risk and governance, facilitated by Bineeta Nand and Edwina Ma, partners at KPMG.

This session will explore how boards and management can adapt their thinking, oversight and decision-making to respond effectively to today’s and tomorrow’s risk landscape.

Bineeta will lead a discussion on operating in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environment, including how risks are increasingly interconnected and can compound and escalate. She will also cover key current and emerging risks, governance trends, and what boards should expect from management.

Edwina will lead a discussion on tax governance, including the participating advisory programme.

Bineeta Nand

Bineeta leads governance, risk management, and internal audit services for KPMG New Zealand. She works extensively with Boards and Executive teams to provide insight into how organisations can better govern risk in an increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) environment.

Edwina Ma

Edwina Ma leads KPMG’s Tax Dispute Management and Tax Governance practices. She specialises in helping organisations manage Inland Revenue reviews, audits, disputes, and rulings, with a strong focus on achieving early certainty and reducing tax risk.
