Overview

Set the governance agenda for 2026: join our boardroom priorities event

Start your year with the insights and connections you need to lead confidently in 2026. The IoD and KPMG invite you to our flagship event: ‘Boardroom priorities 2026: governance, digital transformation, technology oversight and the director’s agenda’.

This national event explores the Top 5 issues shaping directorship in 2026, as identified in the IoD’s Director Sentiment Survey – already generating conversation and action across boardrooms in Aotearoa New Zealand. Join a panel of experienced directors and industry experts as they share practical strategies for responding to these priorities, with a focus on digital transformation, technology oversight, managing risk and driving boardroom effectiveness.

What to expect:

  • Timely insights on the Top 5 issues directors are focusing on in 2026

  • Real-world insights from directors addressing these challenges

  • Practical guidance on AI, digital strategy and governance in action

  • Interactive panel discussion, facilitated by Guy Beatson, GM of the IoD’s Governance Leadership Centre, with leading voices from the IoD community

  • Q&A and networking with your peers.
