Overview

As young and emerging directors, much of the conversation around governance centres on being “board-ready” - building CVs, completing governance courses, and seeking that first appointment. But once you are at the table, a different question emerges: how do you ensure you are board-useful?

This Mentor Circle invites participants to shift the focus from readiness to contribution. Through small-group, facilitated discussion in a confidential setting, we will explore what it truly means to add value in the boardroom.

Our YDN Mentor Circles offer an opportunity to connect with other aspiring directors across the motu, share experiences and hear insights to help you grow as a purpose-driven leader.

Come prepared to be an active participant, ask questions and contribute your perspectives throughout the session.
