Overview

There are no silver bullets for leveraging automation. Our panel will discuss how automation is being leveraged to increase productivity and efficiency, in a range of organisations from SME, not-for-profit and commercial enterprise.  

Hear how the ‘Great resignation’ has increased the need to better engage with, and utilise, an organisation’s most valuable asset – its people – and use automation to augment them and redefine how business can be done. 

There are some key factors that boards need to be aware of, to ensure success and mitigate risks.

Recently Barry established New Zealand's leading Intelligent Automation COE which includes NZ's largest and most successful intelligent automation programme, the first implementation and COE for Pega in NZ along with implementing leading tools around OCR and into AI.

Daniel Ludlam

Daniel has vast experience building and running organisations in competitive environments. He holds a direct investment portfolio across timber manufacturing, exporting, consultancy, commercial property, apparel and technology.

Daniel is well regarded for his broad experience in problem solving, negotiating, and advising on all things business. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in sourcing and supply chain management through to sales, marketing and distribution to end users, in a diverse range of markets.

Daniel is driven by the success of New Zealand as a whole, and values greatly the contributions he is able to make to other businesses and NZ based community groups to support their work. 

Katheren Leitner

Chief Executive Asthma New Zealand

Katheren has always focused on projects of growth. Growth of people, productivity, thought and impact. Her current focus is within the not-for-profit/charities space. She believes this sector has the potential to take a pivotal role in the rebuilding of our communities and society as a whole.

Katheren has expertise in instructional design, process improvement and performance management. She was a conference speaker on Change, Performance Improvement and Strategy and lecturer for the Department of Marketing and Management, Unitec. 

Garry Green (facilitator)

Garry is an entrepreneur, investor, strategic thinker, and transformation professional with 25+ years’ experience in helping organisations with new ways of working. He is the managing director and founder of Quanton, who brought robotic process automation to the New Zealand Market over 7 years ago.
