The Not-for-Profit Governance Shared Interest Group (SIG) is a new community for IoD members who serve in, or support, governance roles within the not-for-profit (NFP) sector. With more than half of our members involved in NFP governance, this group recognises the valuable contribution the sector makes to New Zealand’s wellbeing – and the unique challenges its directors face.
Through tailored events, targeted resources, mentoring and sector-aligned advocacy, the SIG supports directors and governance professionals to share insights, build capability and lift governance standards across the sector. Whether you are a seasoned director, an executive in a governance role, or part of the next generation of NFP leaders, this is a space to connect, learn and lead with purpose.
