Mike is an experienced leader, mentor and Director with a background in institutional banking, corporate finance, infrastructure and property sectors.
A Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors, he is currently Co Chair of Kahungunu Asset Holding Co, a Director of New Zealand Cricket and Tukituki Water Security Ltd.
Mike currently chairs two Advisory Boards, and has been both a longstanding Wellington IoD Committee member and Hawkes Bay Sub Branch member since 2015.
Tyler Ashworth is Executive Director, Regional North Island at ASB Bank, leading a team of corporate bankers across the North Island. Based in Hawke’s Bay, Tyler partners with a diverse portfolio of businesses, supporting growth, strategic investment, and tailored financing solutions.
Tyler brings approximately 20 years of experience in finance, having held relationship management roles across New Zealand and Australia. A passionate advocate for regional economic development, Tyler is committed to helping businesses navigate change, unlock opportunities, and build sustainable success.
Through ASB Corporate Banking, Tyler focuses on delivering meaningful outcomes for clients, supporting investment and innovation, and fostering partnerships that strengthen local communities and contribute to New Zealand’s economic growth.
