Hear Graeme Milne reflect on the differing governance demands of his current directorship portfolio.
Graeme will reflect on the differing governance demands he faces in his current portfolio which includes publically listed entities, co-operatives, tech start-ups, family owned SME’s and private equity structures. Through his address Graeme will share his views on the highs and lows of a directors journey and the skills required in building a balanced portfolio.
A graduate biochemical engineer, Graeme worked initially in the pharmaceutical and brewing industries before joining the New Zealand Dairy Board. He has been based in Germany and London in various executive roles. Graeme has been CEO of Bay Milk Products, and New Zealand Dairy Group before the formation of Fonterra, and interim CEO of Richmond and Bonlac in Australia. He has been a professional director for the last 18 years and is currently chairing six companies, including Synlait Milk, PF OLsen and Nyriad and is a director on four others including Alliance Group and New Zealand Pharmaceuticals.
