Overview

High-performing boards are equipped to navigate complexity, support the CEO and foster strategic alignment, while maintaining effective governance and a strong board culture. With expectations on boards and their leaders increasing, clarity, cohesion and diverse thinking are more important than ever.

Join us in Blenheim for a panel discussion exploring what drives board performance in today’s environment. We’ll cover how to build alignment between the board and committees, enable effective succession and leadership development, and ensure diverse perspectives are harnessed to support robust decision making.

This session will be facilitated by Nelson Marlborough Committee Chair Venus Guy CMInstD, and will feature experienced director Ian Fitzgerald CMInstD and Nelson Marlborough Committee Member Gordon Shaw CMInstD.

This event is made possible through strong local partnerships, and we’re pleased to co-host it with the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce.
