Join the IoD, David Gonski AC, and a panel of leading directors as they discuss evolving stakeholder governance.
The world of business is experiencing a perfect storm - the pandemic, climate change, and social inequality are all presenting business leaders with some of the most severe economic and social challenges in generations. As stewards and kaitiaki of company value, boards are increasingly taking a more holistic view of how their companies create long-term value and they are giving greater attention and recognition to stakeholder interests.
The IoD and MinterEllisonRuddWatts have partnered on a paper exploring stakeholder governance and the evolving corporate governance landscape which is being released in Director Download, Friday 30 July. This session will address key aspects raised in the paper and provides a forum for leading directors to discuss issues in stakeholder governance.
We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive invitation-only leading directors' event where we will discuss stakeholder governance, including significant New Zealand and global developments, relevant New Zealand law, and provide guidance for boards.
David is Chancellor of the University of New South Wales, President of the Art Gallery of NSW Trust, Chairman of Sydney Airport Limited Board, Non-Executive Chairman of Barrenjoey Capital Partners Group Holdings Pty Limited, and Chairman of the UNSW Foundation Ltd. He was previously Chairman of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd, Chair of the Review to Achieve Educational Excellence in Australian Schools for the Commonwealth Government of Australia.
