Overview

Members who have recently joined the IoD (or those keen to re-connect) are invited to attend an informal lunch hosted by branch chair Lloyd Mander and branch committee members. This is an opportunity to network with local members and learn more about the IoD’s governance resources and services, helping you get the most from your membership.

Matthew Mark, from executive recruitment agency Decipher Group will be joining us to share some tips for developing your governance career including putting together an effective governance CV.

Matthew is an accomplished governance, executive and strategic leader with a rich tapestry of experience spanning notable organisations and senior positions across finance, banking, public, and the private sector.

Throughout his career, Matthew has demonstrated a commitment to driving positive impact through transformative initiatives that prioritise people and foster long-term sustainable change.

Matthew isn’t just a visionary, he’s also down-to-earth and practical. Adept at envisioning and articulating a compelling future for an organisation, Matthew’s approach ensures that lofty goals translate into tangible actions. Prior to joining Decipher Group, Matthew’s most recent roles included CEO of Christchurch City Mission and Ronald McDonald House South Island. Now, he’s ready to bring his expertise to the table and be a catalyst for positive change in your organisation.
