Tim has served as a director of numerous companies following a successful career as a CEO and senior executive across both the private and public sectors.
He is currently Chair of Port Otago Limited and Skills Group Trust, and an independent director of Silver Fern Farms Co-operative Ltd, Silver Fern Farms Ltd, and the Gillies McIndoe Research Institute. Tim is also a Trustee of the Gillies McIndoe Foundation.
His previous directorships include Miraka Ltd, Alliance Group Ltd, and LIC Ltd.
Tim holds degrees in German and Law from the University of Otago, and has completed executive and strategy programmes at INSEAD, Harvard, and IMD.
Through Tūhana Consulting Limited, Tim also provides consulting services on business and human rights, as well as economic development projects across Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Pacific.
