Previous EDA winners Jackie Lloyd (IoD Vice President) and Samantha Sharif (Wellington Branch Committee member) will host a conversation that promises to deliver more than just a few pearls of wisdom.

Jackie Lloyd CFInstD

Jackie Lloyd BA, BCom, CFInstD is Vice President of the Institute of Directors, a National Council member and chairs the IoD Human Resource and Health & Safety Committee. A life-long interest in the relationship between human behaviour and business performance led Jackie through an executive career as the global human resources director for the New Zealand Dairy Board and NZMP Fonterra, to consulting and governance.  She is currently a director of Kiwi Group Holdings Limited, AgResearch, Naylor Love Enterprises Ltd and New Zealand Cricket and a board member of Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Jackie is also a trustee of the Lion Foundation. 

Jackie holds Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Manpower) degrees from Otago University, is a graduate of the University of Virginia Executive Development Programme and a member of Global Women and Women in Construction.

Samantha Sharif CMInstD

Samantha is a professional director with key strengths in investment, infrastructure, logistics and safety critical industries. She has a background in CEO and leadership roles in the commercial aviation industry globally, as well as previously practising internationally as a commercial lawyer and with post-graduate qualifications in finance and governance.

Her current governance roles include: Independent Director and Chair HSSE Commitee at New Talisman Gold (ASX, NZX listed), Deputy Chair NZ Shareholders Association, Director SIL/MFL Mutual Funds, Director Motor Trades Association Group, Director MOTAT, Director Flirtey Ltd and External Member of the Dept of Corrections Audit & Risk Committee.
