Event series two
During this time of uncertainty, it is important we stay connected and provide relevant and necessary information to our Taranaki Directors and our wider business community with a chance to share stories, learn from each other and ask questions.
We invite you to join us at one or all of these weekly virtual events.
In this session our panellists will share what business support is available, what feedback they are getting from the Taranaki business community and experiences from an essential business in this lock down period.
Chief Executive, Venture Taranaki
Justine is the Chief Executive of Venture Taranaki and sits on the Boards of AGMARDT and Economic Development New Zealand. Prior to moving back to Taranaki and joining VT, Justine held the position of Deputy Director-General Sector Partnerships and Programmes at the Ministry for Primary Industries, and a range of senior management positions across R&D/innovation, strategy, communications, policy, and operations. She ran the Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission of Inquiry, following the Christchurch earthquakes in February 2011, and has been admitted as barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
Director & Owner, Velocite
Grant is a Business Advisor with a strong focus on changing the outcome, which includes successfully starting, growing, selling and merging his own businesses as well as leading PwC in Taranaki prior to its transition to Velocite.
His passion for tramping saw him help out the Department of Conservation volunteering for predator control for a number of years and love of a challenge led to taking part in a 1,300km jet ski ride that collectively raised $90k for Melanoma research.
Managing Director, Climate and Plumbing
Sam has been the managing director for Climate & Plumbing since 2010. Under her leadership, Climate & Plumbing won the TSB Taranaki Chamber of Commerce, Medium Business Excellence and Trades Excellence Awards in 2018. Also winning the New Zealand Master Plumber of the Year Award for business excellence in 2015. From not knowing a lot about plumbing, she has immersed herself in the plumbing industry and is now a member of national and local statutory stakeholder groups . Sam is also a director for ICE (Industry Connection for Excellence), a training school for plumbing, gasfitting and drainlaying, as well as a participant in the future governance program with New Zealand Plumbing Merchants.
Our panellists will be sharing their experience and advice from their respective professional fields during this online forum. Information shared during this online forum should not be seen as a substitute for official COVID19 advice provided by the Government and its agencies via covid19.govt.nz
Please also be aware that our speakers may also need to cancel at late notice due to circumstances.
