My journey - An evening with Rob Campbell
We invite you to join us for a special evening of networking to celebrate with the Institute of Directors as we reach the end of 2020. We are delighted to have well-known businessman and director Rob Campbell as our guest speaker, who has been invited to share his leadership insights and personal journey. A not-to-miss end of year event!
Rob, trained as an economist and joined the union movement in the 1970s, rising to senior leadership roles, he became a member of the Labour Party executive and subsequently offered a directorship of New Zealand Post, which was the beginning of a new career as a professional director. He is now one of New Zealand’s leading professional directors, with over 30 years’ experience in capital markets and director and advisor to a range of investment fund and private equity groups internationally. Earlier this year, Rob was announced as Chair of Ara Ake, the nation’s future energy development centre and he is committed to seeing New Zealand take a leadership role in the field of emissions lowering energy innovation and commercialisation and is passionate about improving leadership diversity, promoting sustainability as a core value, and creating equality in the organisations he is involved with.
