Overview

Lockdown is over and it’s time to rebuild. But what does governance look like when your organisation’s plans for the next 12 months have been completely or even partially quashed by COVID-19? Join us at this in-person question and answer session with WOW chair Sarah Smith who is also a director of the Lion Foundation and Network Tasman.

This is the next instalment in the series of governance snapshots that our branch has built over the last six weeks.

Seating for this event is limited to just 20 people. Please don’t register if you aren’t prepared to adhere to our COVID-19 safety restrictions, or if there’s a chance that you won’t be available to attend on the day.

Sarah Smith has extensive business and governance experience in both the private and public sectors. Current governance roles include chairperson of WOW, Director Network Tasman Ltd, director The Lion Foundation and trustee for several charitable trusts. Former governance roles have included chair Ngāi Tahu Tourism, cirector Christchurch City Holdings Ltd, director EcoCentral Ltd, director WhereScape Software Ltd, director SLI Systems Ltd, and chair Meteorological Service of New Zealand Ltd.
