Overview

The not-for-profit sector faces rising demand, tightening funding, and increasing compliance pressures. Many boards are quietly asking: how long can we keep doing things the same way?

Collaboration is often seen as optional — a nice-to-have or something to consider “one day.” But with mounting resource constraints, structural reform under the Incorporated Societies Act, and new governance review requirements under the Charities Act, that day may already have arrived.

Facilitated by Judene Edgar CMInstD, this webinar brings together Reremoana Hammond MInstD, Mark Conelly CMInstD, and Tracey Cross CMInstdD for a frank discussion about the future of the not-for-profit sector. We’ll explore what effective collaboration looks like, what forms convergence can take, and whether some boards are deferring the hard questions at their own peril. Because sometimes, the real governance challenge isn’t how to keep going — it’s when to let go or join forces.
