Join us in Timaru for a fireside chat with experienced director Jane Huria
What are the aspects of working with mana whenua that directors need to know about? How can directors develop successful relationships with their iwi?
Jane will share her perspectives on working with iwi and Ngāi Tahu, as well as her own experiences from her many years in governance, sharing a snapshot of Ngāi Tahu history and providing practical guidance on building effective and reciprocal relationships with iwi.
Fireside chats are story-based, small group events where questions and discussion are actively encouraged. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of matters discussed, the Chatham House Rule will apply. Numbers are strictly limited.
If you have an interest in not-for-profit governance, Jane will be facilitating our NFP Governance Essentials course in Timaru the following day, 9 March. For more information and to register

Directorships over the past 25 years in the electricity, technology, dairying, business development, health, insurance, property development, Crown and sport/recreation sectors have resulted in many years of governance, strategy and organisation development experience.
