When it comes to cyber-attacks, no one is immune and you can never fully eradicate them. You can, however, take steps to reduce the risk of cyber breaches impacting your business and minimise potential financial and operational disruption.
Moderated by IoD Chief Executive Kirsten (KP) Patterson, this panel event with Amberley James, Senior Associate at Dentons Wellington, Andy Prow, Co-Founder of RedShield Security, and Peter Bailey, Regional Manager Cyber Security at Kordia will discuss the key questions directors can ask of their senior management to better understand their risk profile and security posture.

Amberley brings extensive experience supporting clients with their privacy and data issues, including breaches. Amberley provides legal and strategic advice to clients on the information and privacy issues faced by organisations in the public and private sector, and regularly helps clients navigate information law issues, including working with the Privacy Act and the Official Information Act. She is particularly interested in the legal and practical implications of new and emerging technologies and provides advice on social media and technology, harmful digital communications, claims for interference with privacy, and cyber issues.
