Join us for the first session in our two part series.
Overview
Risk is a key aspect of being a governor but is often a forgotten aspect of board discussion. This session provides an overview of risk and aims to provide frameworks for directors to ask better risk questions and develop better risk processes around the board table. Crucially risk is as much about opportunity as it is threats.
In a recent report nearly 90% of organisations provide some form of Directors and Officers insurance but the landscape for directors is changing and indemnification through an insurance product needs to be understood so you equally understand your risk profile as a director. This session will provide an introduction to this aspect of governance and will offer a discussion based learning experience for attendees.
This session is part of a two part series:
Session 1 - 06 July | Risk: move beyond repair
Session 2 - 5 September | Becoming a director: find your purpose
Lunch will be served.
To register for both lunchtime sessions at a discounted rate, please contact Waikato Branch Manager Megan Beveridge (contact details below).
