Boardroom Autumn 2021
From Dog Point Vineyard in the south to game developer Ninja Kiwi in the north, we discover how IoD members are leading their organisations ...
An after-work networking event where you’ll learn more about the governance and leadership of this community-owned, world-class scientific research facility.
This year marks 100 years since the establishment of Cawthron Institute. It was all the making of Nelson philanthropist Thomas Cawthron who had a vision – that science could contribute to the growth of a young New Zealand.
Since then the Cawthron Institute has grown to become New Zealand’s largest independent science organisation, employing over 300 staff and cementing its position as a leading research institute supporting the growth of primary industries and the protection of marine and freshwater environments.
The Cawthron Institute is a charity, governed by a trust and a commercial board. We warmly invite you to join us at this event to celebrate the Cawthron’s Centenary, learn more about its winning formula and meet its newly appointed chief executive Volker Kuntzsch.
