Overview

The 20th Annual General Meeting of the Nelson Marlborough Branch of the Institute of Directors will be held at the beginning of the evening. To view the Notice of AGM

Following the AGM, guest speaker Rob Campbell FInstD will share his leadership insights and personal journey. Rob’s career is justifiably described as rich and varied, as he has witnessed and experienced governance and its impacts from multiple perspectives.

Lively and always provoking plenty of thought amongst the governance community, Rob will provide his own unique view that’s sure to give attendees plenty to consider themselves.

Rob Campbell

Rob is a professional director and investor. Rob is Chancellor of AUT University, Chair of Ara Ake and Chair of NZ Rural Land. He has had a career over 40 years in private, public and community governance.

Rob holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Economic History and Political Science, and Master of Philosophy in Economics. He was also Senior Scholar in his final year at Victoria University and a member of the University’s Professorial Board.

In 2017 Rob was awarded the NZ Shareholders Association Beacon Award and the Deloitte NZ Chair of the Year Award. In 2020 he became a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
