Overview

For many organisations the question is not if, but when, will they face a privacy or cyber breach? These incidents can be highly disruptive, but they don’t have to be debilitating. Organisations that are prepared are likely to come out of an incident better off than those who thought it wouldn’t happen to them.

Join Patrick Sharp, GM at Aura Information Security, and Campbell Featherstone, Dentons Partner, for insights into what really happens when a privacy or cyber breach occurs – not only from a legal perspective but also the ‘human element’ of dealing with one of the more stressful situations an organisation can face.

Learn what it might mean for you as a director: what you need to know, when you need to know it, and what questions you can and should be asking to position your organisation as best you can to deal with a crisis of this nature.

This webinar will cover:

  • The realities of a privacy or cyber breach – what actually happens behind the scenes
  • The legal implications and critical decisions directors must be aware of
  • The ‘human element’ – managing stress, communications and reputational impact
  • Key questions directors should be asking to ensure their organisations are crisis-read

Drawing on firsthand experience as front-line responders, our panel will explore the full lifecycle of a privacy or cyber breach, offering a practical and strategic perspective on how to mitigate risk and respond effectively.
