Calling all Audit and Risk committee members...
Join Marsh’s Steve Hills for a candid fireside chat where he will talk you through the current “state of the nation” for the New Zealand insurance market and what are the future challenges, key players, and relationships behind New Zealand’s contemporary insurance industry. The Auckland floods and Cyclone Gabrielle are major events in the history of New Zealand’s history of natural catastrophe losses. How will they impact and what do NZ Inc. entities need to be thinking about for their future insurability, regardless of their location or trade within New Zealand.
How do insurability, insurance, and your broader risk management framework fit together? Learn how you can add value to your board’s approach to insurance.
After more than 39 years in the insurance industry there isn’t much Steve hasn’t seen nor experienced, so he has more than his fair share of war stories to share with you too.
Come prepared to be challenged and wanting to enhance the way your board manages risk and insurance.
Fireside chats are small group events where questions and discussion are actively encouraged. Due to the potentially sensitive nature of matters discussed, the Chatham House Rule will apply. Numbers are strictly limited.
Steve manages the South Island business for Marsh and is a member of the Marsh New Zealand Executive and provides, in addition to his management responsibilities, high level insight and thought leadership with clients’ risk and insurance platforms.
Based in Christchurch, he has 39 years’ experience in the insurance industry ranging from account management through to executive leadership. Steve has extensive experience across the insurance industry with his main focus being corporate clients throughout the South Island.
