‘Shadow AI’ signals a new digital blind spot
Unmanaged AI use is creating hidden risks. Boards must act now to bring shadow AI into view — and under governance.
Panel Discussion

CPD
A panel discussion aiming to equip directors with tools to oversee cyber resilience, incident response and comms during a cyber breach or attack.
Cyber incidents and attacks are on the rise, fuelled by a shift to digital operations and the rise of AI. For many businesses, becoming a target of cybercrime is a case of when, not if. Clear, concise and timely communications are a vital component of a good recovery and response plan. Engaging with stakeholders effectively will help minimise reputation damage and ensure trust is maintained while the organisation recovers.
However, orchestrating communications in a crisis situation requires good governance and planning. From informing regulators and investors, to notifying customers and dealing with the media, there's a lot of ground to cover.
In this event, we'll discuss how cyber-attacks are impacting businesses in New Zealand, and what best practice communication looks like in the face of a cyber crisis, and the questions directors should be asking their organisations - before, during and after a cyber incident.
