The Institute of Directors and ASB are pleased to release the 2018 Director Sentiment Survey report. The survey, designed to take the pulse of the director community, shows that while the majority of businesses are optimistic about their own prospects, general business confidence is at a record low.

Labour quality and capability topped the list again as the highest-rated risks facing organisations, followed by regulatory red tape.

The report covers board oversight and concerns about workplace culture and wellness, conduct risk, data governance and cybersecurity, executive succession planning and strategic talent management, including the future of work.
