Overview

Join your fellow members from across Hawke’s Bay and Manawatu as John shares insights of considerations by Board's as they face into the challenge of COVID-19. During this interactive virtual session, John will share his observations from his interactions with clients and his role on PwC's Board.  It will include: 

• responses by entities and the Board role in governing a work force, many who are working from home
• key questions directors should be asking of management 
• high level comment on the Companies Act changes impacting directors in relation to directors safe harbour and business debt hibernation.

John Dixon

John is a PwC Board member, Managing Partner in Hawke's Bay and member of the IoD Hawke's Bay sub-branch committee.

As an Assurance Partner, he is responsible for large, medium and small audits for clients in the Hawke's Bay and surrounding regions. He has more than 22 years’ experience with PwC in Hawke's Bay, Wellington and UK offices. John was Chief Financial Officer of a listed company in the healthcare industry for two years.

John brings extensive assurance experience (including external and internal audit), acquisition and divestment, data analytics, risk management and commercial experience through auditing and advising a number of listed, privately-owned, and not for profit companies and organisations.
