With a diverse career spanning accounting, information systems, commercial finance, and governance, Natasha brings critical insights that challenge thinking, sharpen strategy, and drive value creation. Natasha thrives on supporting and inspiring others—both in the workplace and across the wider community.
Natasha is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and a graduate of the Institute’s 2017 Mentoring for Diversity programme. Her experience bridges complex commercial environments and the for-purpose sector, underpinned by a commitment to transparency, visionary financial leadership, and practical, solution-focused thinking.
Passionate, driven, and endlessly curious, Natasha asks the right questions—what, so what, now what—to look ahead and challenge the status quo. Natasha thrives in dynamic, high-performing teams, bringing strong financial expertise, commercial acumen, leadership, stakeholder engagement, project delivery, and a talent for aligning cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, collaborative outcomes.

With a foundation as a teacher in New Zealand, the USA, and the UK, Jackie has spent the past 20 years as a senior public servant leading complex, system-wide transformation across education and the wider social sector. Jackie has also worked within the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet under former Prime Minister John Key.
Jackie’s governance experience includes serving as Executive Director and Director on multiple public service boards, managing large-scale programmes with diverse stakeholders and reporting to Crown and Ministerial Boards. Currently, as a Director at JT Change Consultants, Jackie advises school boards on strengthening governance frameworks to meet their obligations under the Education and Training Act 2020.
Jackie brings deep expertise in navigating diverse views to achieve shared goals, and thrives on building trust and strong relationships. She is a visionary, innovative board member who is passionate about empowering people and organisations to deliver lasting, meaningful impact.
Phil has recently retired from a lifetime career in the education sector including undertaking principal positions at schools in Hawkes Bay, King Country and Waikato. His last principal position was that of foundation principal at Rototuna Primary School from 2002 until 2008 having held previous principal positions in the Waikato at Pirongia and Bankwood Primary Schools.
From Rototuna Primary School he worked for the Education Review Office undertaking positions of reviewer, and manager of review services. Most recently, up until my retirement he held the role of Director Review and Improvement Services - Central Region. This role involved oversight of the evaluation of all schools and early childhood education services from Pukekohe in the north to Levin in the south (coast to coast) encompassing 880 schools and approximately 1700 early learning centres.
Roger is a highly experienced director of photography with a career spanning broadcast and documentary filmmaking for major networks including the BBC and ITV. His assignments have taken him across the globe—from the Arctic to the Amazon—capturing stories on a wide range of topics. Throughout his career, he has filmed high-profile figures such as Queen Elizabeth II and President Vladimir Putin, and has worked on projects with Gordon Ramsay, including a documentary investigating the cocaine trade in South America. He also served as director of photography on Dan Carter: A Perfect 10, a feature film on the iconic All Black.
After many years working internationally, Roger returned to New Zealand with his family and now lives in the Waikato. He reconnected with his roots by joining the board of trustees at Horahora School, where he was once a student. He has served on the board for five and a half years, including three and a half as chair.
Carissa Posimani McCay is an experienced professional with a diverse background spanning education, health, and community leadership. She is married to Hamish and is the proud mother of two daughters, Eila and Niamh. Carissa currently works at Hukanui School as an office administrator, supporting the school’s health, safety, and wellbeing.
Her early career was in nursing, specialising in children’s emergency care, and she brings that same care and focus to her extensive governance work. She has served on the boards of Hukanui School, Fairfield Intermediate, and is now in her second term as Board Chair at Hamilton Girls’ High School.
Carissa is also active in the wider education network, having contributed to the Te Pae Here Community of Learning Stewardship Committee.
Deeply committed to Pacific communities, she chairs the Vagahau Niue Trust, has led constitutional reform for both the Trust and the Niue Nurses Association, and previously served on the board of K’aute Pasifika.
