Overview

Whether you're new to the Institute of Directors or looking for a refresher, this lunchtime event is a great opportunity to learn how to make the most of your IoD membership. 

Join us for an engaging and informative session with Jill Steffert MInstD, IoD’s Manager Branches and Member Engagement, who will guide you through the tools and services available to support your governance journey. Jill will share insights into IoD’s development programmes, board appointment services, events and courses, as well as how to maximise your membership benefits and continuous professional development offered through the IoD. 
  
You’ll also have the chance to ask questions, connect with fellow members, and leave with practical tips to help you navigate your next steps in governance.

MInstD

Jill is the Manager Branches and Member Engagement at the Institute of Directors (IoD). Her role includes managing the branch network team of 7 Branch Managers spread around the motu who engage and service the needs of the IoD membership in their local region. Jill also oversees a number of the IoD’s diversity initiatives, mentoring programmes and shared interest groups.

Jill is passionate about diversity and good governance practice, and the value that both bring to the board table and she thoroughly enjoys guiding people on their own governance pathway.  Jill has her own personal interest in governance having previously sat on the board of Life Education Trust North Shore and is a current board member of The Trust Arena in Auckland.
