Artificial Intelligence: Effective AI governance as the cornerstone to ensuring effective and trustworthy integration
The latest Deloitte report on Artificial Intelligence has highlighted that less than one in ten organisations across Asia Pacific, including New Zealand, have the necessary governance structures to ensure trustworthy AI.
In this Director Dialogue session you are invited to a discussion led by Deloitte experts Julene Marr and Everett Toews, which will highlight the importance of robust AI governance, identify four key high-impact actions that organisations can take to improve their AI governance, and briefly touch on some of the latest innovations and how they can be used on both a small and large scale. The full report can be viewed here.
Julene is a key member of Deloitte's Technology and Transformation team, specialising in guiding organisations to safely harness AI innovations for optimised operations and enhanced productivity. As the leader of our Centre of Enablement practice, she excels in crafting transformational roadmaps and embedding new ways of working that drive continuous innovation.
With over a decade of experience, Julene has a proven track record of aligning technology advancements with strategic objectives and investment goals. Her expertise spans from envisioning potential to executing practical implementations, giving her a deep understanding of how change influences people, processes, and technology. Julene's unique ability to integrate this insight with her technical acumen empowers leadership teams to not only envision but also effectively realise their future aspirations.
Everett's focus is helping organisations establish or mature a modern engineering capability. He leads technical experts to become enablers of innovation and change to drive business value.
With a decade of software development, a decade of systems operations, and years of platform engineering, Everett brings a holistic perspective in his approach to engineering. He empowers teams to innovate and deliver value to their customers more securely, efficiently, and frequently to gain meaningful feedback. That enables organisations to reduce risk, stabilise, modernise, or optimise their business while ensuring technical quality.
