Overview

Whilst cryptocurrency is not a new phenomenon, the process of how we manage investments in crypto are certainly more novel. Suhail will begin with a refresher course on defining what crypto is and the pros and cons of investing in digital currency. It comes as no surprise that crypto is a high-risk investment and he will share with you some insights about what to consider before taking that step.

At present, crypto is not regulated in New Zealand, and Suhail will take you on a journey as to what that might look like and the timeframe for such changes.

Finally, crypto assets are leading to the disruption of our traditional financial markets. Suhail will discuss where this might lead and the steps to take when it comes to the world of decentralised finance (DeFi).

This interactive discussion-style event will be capped at 15 attendees. You will be encouraged to ask questions and actively contribute your perspectives.
