Connexionz is headquartered in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a North American customer support centre in Santa Clarita, California, and a sales office in Denver, Colorado. Our teams are split between the NZ and US locations, with the majority of the staff in Christchurch including the development and operations management team.
We provide advanced intelligent transit solutions (ITS) for public transport providers with a focus on the North American market. ITS enables Transit management teams to oversee their public transport operations and provides them with insights that can be used to the plan future services. Changing consumer demands and funding constraints are driving transit agencies to at ways in which technology can increase efficiencies and reduce cost. As a result, modern intelligent transport systems are helping transit agencies to manage their networks with timely precision while enabling smartphones, electronic signs and solar powered displays to see in real time when the next bus is arriving. This is a continually evolving landscape with the introduction of electric buses and a number of our customers including ferries as part of their fleet.

As a Non-Executive Director, you will assist in guiding long-term strategy and its implementation by providing valuable insights, strategic guidance and bring experience gained in growing a technology company in the US market.
To succeed in this position, you will have proven strategic oversight experience, commercial acumen and be an active participant around the board table with a strong appreciation for best practice in a high growth and dynamic SME.

As a Non-Executive Director, you will assist in guiding long-term strategy and its implementation by providing valuable insights, strategic guidance and mentorship to the CEO.
To succeed in this position, you will have proven strategic oversight experience, commercial acumen and be an active participant around the board table with a strong appreciation for best practice in a high growth and dynamic privately held business.
Connexionz are seeking skill diversity on their Board, with a preference given to candidates with experience and credibility in some or all of the following strategic areas at a governance or senior executive level:
- Board Chair or sub committee chair (5 years preferred)
- Understanding and experience of Public Transport industry in the USA
