Chartered Member application

Form inputs

I wish to apply for upgrade to Chartered Member, and confirm that I meet the criteria in Appendix B-4 in the Constitution of the Institute of Directors

A qualifying organisation has separate executive and governance functions, in the opinion of our council. For example, a qualifying organisation would have, in the council’s opinion, a meaningful separation of the roles of senior managers from those of members of the board of directors.

The organisation’s size and sector do not matter – not-for-profit, school, and trust board members can qualify.

We need the full legal name of the organisation, including the company number (or charity number) and your role must be a governing role ie. Board Member, Director, Trustee, Independent Director, Executive Director etc.

ie. Board Member, Director, Trustee, Independent Director, Executive Director

If you are unable to confirm any of the following please contact the Registrar to make a disclosure. Please note your rights under the Criminal Records (Clean Slate) Act 2004 before providing details of any criminal record.
