Jane is a Partner at Nexia New Zealand. She works primarily in our Business Advisory division, as well as in Audit & Assurance.
With over 30 years’ accounting and advisory experience, Jane has worked for Big Four firms, with corporates, and she has owned her own practice. She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors, and a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. She also holds a number of external governance roles.
Jane is a people person and a natural communicator. She understands the importance of translating complex situations into easily understood information. To her, accountancy is about developing strong personal relationships where clients see her as their first port of call, even if it is not directly for accounting advice.
Her sector expertise is wide ranging and encompasses rest homes, hospitals and healthcare, shipping entities, construction and trades, as well as residential and commercial property.
Outside of work, Jane enjoys bridge, travel, time with her family and weekends out of town at the beach.
