Lana Ngawhika

Lana joined the IoD in 2016 and has extensive experience in the governance of Māori entities including as Deputy Chair of the Te Arawa Lakes Trust and as a director of Te Arawa Management Limited. She served on the Lakes District Health Board until it was disestablished in June 2022 as part of the current health sector reforms.
Lana is a governor, strategist and experienced senior executive with a proven record of creating a strong performance culture. She is guided by integrity and values founded on kaupapa Māori principles.
Lana is based in the Bay of Plenty and is currently a director of Te Rani Consulting.
