Lisa Tai

Lisa Tai is a Partner at Deloitte New Zealand where she leads the company’s Pasifika Services Group – Pås Peau, which focuses on building capability and capacity across the Pasifika community through partnership and collaboration. Established in 2019, Pås Peau is made up of over 70 Deloitte professionals of Pasifika heritage who are committed to serving the Pasifika community in Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands. 

Over the past 18 years, she has worked in governance, investigating financial crime and risk management – including promoting integrity, ethics, accountability and transparency at all levels, and believes this is the foundation of good public service. She has served on a number of community boards and advisory groups and is currently on the AUT Business School Industry Advisory Group. She has also supported a broad spectrum of clients from grass-roots, non-profit organisations to charitable organisations and large government departments, and multi-national corporations. 

Lisa is passionate about providing visible opportunities for young Pacific people in business and working on initiatives designed to create spaces for Pacific communities to thrive. Hailing from Suva, Fiji, she is of Rotuman, Fijian and Chinese heritage and currently lives in West Auckland with her husband, Aviti Tai, and her two children, Keilani and Kanoa.
