Overview

The twelfth Annual General Meeting of the Taranaki Branch of the Institute of Directors will be held at the beginning of the evening and include the election of branch committee members for 2024. 

Following the AGM, guest speaker Justin Flitter, Founder AI New Zealand will present the latest knowledge and insights directors need to know to make informed decisions on the use of AI. From the fundamentals of AI to practical use cases and organisational enablement, attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the potential and limitations to consider how to leverage this remarkable new technology.

Justin Flitter

Justin Flitter founded AI New Zealand in 2017 to inform, inspire and accelerate the adoption of Artificial Intelligence. Today NewZealand.AI is where Kiwi companies start their AI Journey through workshops and independent advice. He’s a sought after speaker, educator and commentator on AI and its impact on people, business and society. In the last six months he’s worked with House of Travel, Bayleys Commercial and Young Enterprise plus many more organisations around Aotearoa.

Justin is also a director on the board of Business Mentors New Zealand, chair of the NZ Tech Marketers Group and the emcee of TEDxAuckland.
